Happy Birthday, America!

Good morning!  I hope you had a great 4th celebrating America's Birthday!

We started our with a gulf cart parade.  That was kind of sad.  Our new community is a huge gulf cart community so when they announced there was a parade, we assumed it was going to be a big deal.  Wrong-o!  Next year, we'll be in the parade and make it a big deal so in two years, a lot more people will want to do it.  Goals 😉

After the parade, we headed home to have lunch and put on our bathing suits.  The activities were next.  They really couldn't do the jumbo slide or obstacle course because the material ended up being blazing hot.

Xander still had fun though!

After Xander did a few rounds of the obstacle course, we headed to the pool.

While they swam, I sat in the shade under the water slide and made out a grocery list.  After swimming they changed clothes and we went to grab the much needed groceries.

All Xander wanted was to see the fireworks and go to the pool.  His day was made when I found the perfect spot for us to view them from in town.

Have a great day!
