Time

I'm not quite sure where the days go.  I'm so sorry for putting this off.  Xander is doing wonderful.  We have had an experience with formula, figuring out which worked for him.  We're going to stick to Similac and see if his little body takes it better 2nd time around.  So far, he's doing much better on it.  He's such a happy baby, even if his little tummy was upset.
He's going to be 3 weeks on Saturday already.  I can't believe how fast time is going.  We've taken our first trip to the park with his cousins, Jayla and Alicia, been to Target a million times, been to a few malls, first road trip (3 hours to auntie Renee's house), first rollovers, loves to scoot around on his belly, sleeps 3-5 hours at a time and probably so much more, but I just can't think right now.
This weekend is exciting, his first Easter.  Tomorrow we are going to Raleigh to go shopping, we need to find him a cute outfit for my sisters graduation and commissioning the following weekend.  I'm also in need of some heels for my outfit for her graduation.  On Saturday, he's 3 weeks, and we plan to go to the park again.  On Sunday, we are going to the beach, having a picnic, coming home and making an Easter dinner.  Oh, and Friday night we are coloring Easter eggs for the girls.  I'm so glad to be able to be with family.
Here's a few pictures...ok...maybe not, the upload thing will not work...next time hopefully

Have a great day!

Baby Boy!

We have been blessed with our little man, Alexander, also will be known as Xander.  It's been an emotional roller coaster getting to this point, but as we all say, it was worth it in the end.  He was born on April 2nd, I was in the room for the delivery, and was offered a room next to birth mom (LP) to stay the nights.  It was an incredible experience and LP and her family are AMAZING!!  I call this a dream adoption because LP and I have SO much in common, her mom reminds me much of my mom, and her sister is just as sweet.  LP and I spent Saturday to Monday together and I loved every minute getting to know her, her getting to know us, and asking questions to let Alexander know how much he is loved.  We are doing an open adoption, something when we first started the adoption process, we said no way, but after meeting her, we couldn't say no.  She's a part of our family now, and will always be.  My youngest sister was able to come up for the weekend as well with her girls so we all chatted and LP was also able to meet my oldest sister and her daughters via webcam.  LP's mom gave Alexander a bunch of personalized gifts and outfits.  He's so loved by everyone!  I can't wait to post pictures of my adorable little man, but will wait until the 12th.  Xander and I came "home" (hotel) yesterday.  He's such a good baby, I'm so in love with him already.
Well that's my update, sorry I've been MIA for awhile.

Have a great day!
