No Haggle, Best and Final

Yesterday was BUSY!  Oh my.  I don't think I've been so crazy busy, on my feet, all day long before.  It was nuts.  But I conquered my fear of listing things on Facebook in our area.  I only selected a handful of items and I'm glad I did.  There would have been no way I could keep up with all the traffic.  I've already double sold something, ha!  Good thing there are really no rules on this site.

People are funny though.  They try to haggle that price as low as they can go.  But I play back and tell them the full price, ha!  I've already priced everything so it'll sell without the need to haggle.  Maybe my next batch of items I'll raise everything $40, just knowing everyone wants to haggle.

One item I was excited to see go was our 5-point harness car seats.  For one reason.  Northern Virginia has a horribly high percent of kids that are NOT buckled in as their parents are driving.  I've never seen it so bad!  Maybe they can't afford car seats?  I don't know, but it drives my bonkers as I'm driving and a toddler walks up to their parent in their van as it's moving.  Why, people, why!?!  I feel like I just helped a family stay a little bit safer.

I have almost everything else scheduled to be picked up today and then on Friday morning, I'll post all the furniture.  And hopefully it'll be a weekend pickup.

Our moving quote went well today, basically the same price as the other company.  I'm waiting on one more, but they are being slow, so I might just go with one of the company's that came.  I'm also going to chose to pack myself.  I'm crazy, I know, but I just feel like I need to this time.  Why not add more to my plate?

We are in the end of year slump.  For the past few weeks, we have been slacking on homework.  We used to do it after dinner each night, but lately, it's been in the morning before school 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️.  I just can't get it together.  How do you?

Today's another busy day.   I'll be volunteering at the school, responding to the million messages I missed, dealing with all the pickups, and getting the family fed and cleaned.  Maybe we'll even do the homework 😜
