The kids' preschool classes held their own programs this year so both kids had a special night to shine. They've looked forward to this night for two weeks! It didn't come fast enough and then the next day when both programs were done, Sterling asks "who's going to go on stage tonight?" Nobody, girl. Nobody. We're going to bed, ha!
Last Wednesday, the 16th, it was all about Xander. This boy is SO shy and serious when other people are around. He didn't smile an ounce once we arrived in the church. Loosen up boy. Loosen up.
We took some obligatory pictures before leaving and he was hamming it up. Really just showing his true self. The funny Xander.
Opa bought him his handsome little outfit last year and we were so happy it fit him this year. Although I almost washed an outfit his Grandma sent this year for Christmas instead of wrapping it, but hubs said I should wrap it. So I did. She bought some super handsome outfits this year!
He actually sang too, just didn't put a smile on his face to make it look like he enjoyed himself. He says he did though.
The next night it was Sterling's time to shine. And did she ever! She calls herself a "little lady" lately and she's right. She is.
Her Opa bought her this dress last year (a size 7!) and she loves it. She's always wanting to wear it so she was beyond excited to put it on.
Grandma sent some ADORABLE dresses this year, and I really really wanted her to wear one of them, but they looked too big so again hubs said to wrap them. So I did.
Having fun taking silly pictures
Sterling's class was histarical! The whole church was laughing. Sweet group of kids who can't remember lyrics is the most precious thing ever. Then when you have two kids (on the upper row, at left) who were playing and laughing the whole time. It was a great night! Sterling side eyed those two because when they were playing around, they touched her while she was trying to sing. And she didn't like that! She's a hoot!
The Jingle Bell song was the cutest!
The kids had so much fun! What some awesome memories being made this year!
