Sterling's Birthday

It's been almost a month since Sterling turned TWO.  She's been such a breeze of a baby/kid but I swear the day after her birthday, it's been a whole different story!  No joke.

Wears a size 8 shoe

Wears a size 3T

You can usually find her with a baby doll and her favorite blanket in her arms

Loves Bubble Guppies, Dora, Mickey, Elmo, Caillou, and Doc McStuffin's

Loves to torture her brother...she's good at it too :)  (is she the older one?!)

Loves to color, play outside, bounce in the jump house, play with baby dolls, have tea parties and picnics

Fragmented talker :)  It's still so cute though!

After her birthday:

She's not a fan of going to sleep.  She used to sleep from 7-7, not a peep, not a movement.  Now, she's up talking, moving around, playing.  She also wants to sleep in "mommys bed" ALL. THE. TIME!

Throws tantrums the size of Texas

Strong willed!  Determined to get what she wants.  Says "peeezze" so sweetly we just can't say no!  She has us wrapped around her little fingers already.

The night before I assembled her presents and left them in our room since her first stop in the morning is our bed

Then it was time for the doctor visit and Xander had fun doing the check up on Sissy too 

After the appointment we headed to their cousins house and stayed to play for a bit...a long bit.

After dinner, we had cake, of course.  This year I made an angel food cake and did a quick frosting on it after we got home.  Definitely not our best looking cake, but it was yummy.

Then of course presents from the grandparents 

She started trying everything on 

and loving her new clothes 

even when she puts them on lopsided 

We actually did a little photo-shoot before leaving for the day.  She has so much personality.  Shes fun, sweet and sassy.

The morning after...she wore a dress from Grandma.  I thought it was fitting because she wore her birthday shirt on her birthday and at school they would sing happy birthday to her, so she wore this cute "birthday" dress 

Sterling, even though this post is 3 weeks late, you were celebrated in a big way on your second birthday.  You have brought so much joy and happiness to our family.  Continue to grow strong and healthy.  You're going to go big when you're older!  We love you!
