Random overload

March 10th:  It was our first real nice day so the kids and I headed to the park.  And it was Spring Break for the kids all week.  This day was also Sterling's last day with her paci, so glad I had picture of her last time with it

March 11th:  Looking exceptional tired after shopping

March 12th:   Shopping again (at the outlets this time), we grabbed McDonalds on the way home and Sterling fell asleep with a chicken nugget in her mouth!  Tired baby!  After we got home and Sterling finished her nap, she was found reading stories to her baby bear

March 13th:  Another park day on a sunshiny day, but first we made a stop for ice-cream.  Xander's never been a big fan of it since it's cold, but he seemed to enjoy it this day.  Sterling of course loved it!

March 17th:  Happy Birthday Sterling!

March 20th:  After school we headed to the lake trail and the kids road their scooters.  We didn't go far, but it was fun for them get going on them.  This night I also had wet hair when I went to bed and I HATE having wet hair on pillows, so I wrapped it up in a towel and the kids thought it was hilarious.

March 24th:  Kids went to the dentist, after their appointments we headed to the store and Xander loved pushing his own cart.  It was overflowing in the end and stuff kept falling out, but he was determined to push it all!  Sterling was a silly goose when we got home and was dancing all over the place

March 27th:  I decided it was time to show the kids how to make their own beds.  Xander did alright, Sterling...she just took the bedding off her bed

March 28th:  Sterling watching Tangled.  She seems to enjoy this movie, which we don't own, I have it on DVR.  We spent the evening hanging out with their cousins and Sterling was so loving with her baby cousin (5 weeks old)

March 29th:  Kids and I slept in (after they came trotting in our room at 615) and Nick snapped a pic of this rare moment

April 2nd:  Happy Birthday Xander!

April 3rd:  This has been the start to my day way too often.  On school mornings (for the kids) while I'm doing my hair and makeup, they are playing.  Sometimes nicely, other times not so nice.  This night we made lasagna roll ups for the first time and I let the kids do most of assembly.  They loved it and help me in the kitchen often.  We don't make lasagna often in our house because I can never get it "right".  I had no hope for these but have been wanting to try them so we did.  Nick came home, heard what was for dinner and instantly began grunting.  Demanding he was ordering pizza.  He didn't.  He had a bite of the lasagna and loved it.  We learned tonight not to "don't knock it till we try it".  He had 5 rolls!  No I won't be making them often, it was probably a fluke that they turned out, ha!

April 4th:  Xander had his 3 year check up.  All's good, but we're going to start going every 6 months for him.  I love their doctor (he's actually all of ours), but he's so detailed when he does the kids' exams.  I'm actually rescheduling Sterling's well baby appt with him since we had someone else on her day.  I just want to make sure she's hitting her milestones since it wasn't checked at her appt, I was never satisfied with her check-up, so we're redoing it!

April 5th:  Sterling wasn't feeling well.  She was running a fever.  Still working on her last 2 molars.  The bottom right is 90% through but the top right is barely making a peak through the gums...poor thing!

I have 3 weeks left of school this semester.  Hallelujah!  Still trying to decide if I'm going to push on or stop with my studies.  I'm leaning at stopping but trying to convince my brainiac husband is another story.  He thinks it's necessary to have a Master's degree.  I on the other hand think a Bachelor's is just fine.
I found my first gray hair on Thursday!  Yes, gray!  Stress I tell you is making me old.  I had to go buy under eye concealer on the 3rd.  I'm wore out!

We got word on Tuesday that Nick's application to voluntary separate was disapproved.  We were sad, but we can't dwell on it.  I had a feeling that it was not going to be approved so I wasn't as upset because I already prepared my mind.  I kept living my life whereas Nick put a halt on his in hopes to move forward with a move this summer.

We're now planning our summer vacations.  Nick is walking with his class for his Master's degree.  We're taking the kids to Disney World.  And we're trying to plan one more trip, just not sure where or what we're going to do.

If you made it to this, Thank You for taking the time!
