Good morning! We've been home for a week now and still trying to find our groove. We'll get there. When we get there ☺️ We're loving having our Lulu back. She's been so good and will be 7 months later this month. I was told dogs can hold their bladder as many months as they are (up to 12 max), so I've been looking forward to her getting older. More sleep for this mama! I'm basically just looking forward for her to reach around 8 months. Eight hours of sleep sounds glorious. She had her first haircut. She did good for it being her first time.
The kids started ice lessons.
We began our LEGO 'build all-the-sets' journey.
She's the sweetest-snuggliest-pup ever (blurry pic taken by Sterling).
This boy is officially on the boys pre-team in gymnastics. He's now practicing four hours a week, twice a week. He's a quick learner, although his timid demeanor shows otherwise.
p.s. look at sweet Lulu. She loves playing with that orange ball and having us throw it for her.
We've been trusting Lulu to run freely in the house without someone watching her every move. Well the other night, we were hunting for her and when we found her, I was going to get her to give her a hug. I slipped so hard and whacked my head. That night it dawned on me that we could watch the replay of it and I died laughing. Xander was confused at why I was laughing when watching the replay. He said, "it wasn't funny that you banged your head." No, no it wasn't. But, I just kept laughing. It's okay if you laugh too. It hurt...bad, but I'm good.
If anything, this accident had us go over our emergency procedure again. What would they do if mommy really did get hurt and needed help? I've had them demonstrate pressing talk, dialing 9-1-1, and saying our address. They could also run across the street to our neighbors. Thankfully, I do have our procedures, step by step on our fridge, but man, was this scary!
Have a great day! Here's to no more accidents!
