Cousins, cousins, and Omaha fun

After the movers left Friday night, we took showers, packed our bags and headed up to Sioux Falls.  We didn't get there until almost midnight, but my aunt stayed awake to greet us.  Her and my mom stayed up until after 1 chatting and catching up, but I had to go to bed.  I was exhausted from such a long day/week!

Saturday morning we headed up to Storybook Land to meet my sisters clan.  They are our favorite and we had to take advantage of being so close.  I'm so glad they were able to meet us in my "must visit" place before we left the area.

These boys are best buddies!

Love this picture of all them

Sister loves Dorothy!

Oh Xander!

They had a blast riding all the rides (there were only four, ha!)

While waiting for the train ride, we walked through the station and came across an old room. I thought it'd be fun to take a serious picture.  For Xander.

And a silly one!

Xander found Santa

Waking up Sunday morning I didn't want to leave and say goodbye to my sister or her clan.  But, we had to make our way 4.5 hours south to visit with my grandpa.  He hasn't been doing so well lately, so I wanted to make sure we saw him one more time.  It was nice visiting with him, my brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We went across the street with the cousins and they played on the same playground as I did when I was a kid.  So fun watching them enjoy it like I did!

We love great-grandpa!

Second cousin picture

I love this picture!  It's my mom with her siblings (missing one sister) and grandpa.  Love the bunny ears, ha!

After cleaning the house for two days, we headed to the zoo and had a blast.  It was members day so we were able to ride all the rides we'd always wanted to, but never did.  Free is always good :)

This boy melts my heart! Love him so much!

The day before we left, their friend came by the hotel and swam with them.  This made their night!  They swam for 2.5 hours!

Saying goodbye to one of his favorite teachers.  She was so good to him.  I called her his surrogate because she filled in for me many times throughout Pre-K.

Saying goodbye to her favorite teacher too.  These guys loved on my kiddos fiercely!

LOVE this picture!

We had a great three years in the Omaha area.  We will miss so many.  We made great memories.  Cried lots.  Laughed until our bellies hurt.  Worked hard.  Played harder.
