It's been a while since I've given an update for the kids. I think it's time since they were both at the doctors and I got some official numbers.
Xander: 32 months
Weight: 29 lbs
Height: 34.75 inches
Size clothes: 2T (still!!!!, I think we're going on a year and a half in 2T now!!)
Size shoe: 8.5-9
Size diaper: 4
Talking: He's talking in full blown sentences. Speaks amazingly awesome and SO clearly. I can't keep up with him anymore...so...
I'm going to ask him the remaining question...
What's your favorite color?: green (I would have thought blue, good thing I'm asking him!)
What's your favorite food(s)?: pizza, eggs (he really don't eat them that often, although he will tear up an egg bagel sandwich), apple juice, no milk, apples
What's your favorite toy(s)?: balls, scooter, legos, train track
What's your favorite store?: Target (ha!, I always laugh when he says he wants to go to Target)
What are you favorite activities to do?: painting, dancing, flashcards, games, playing at the park, going to the zoo...and annoying his sister (i had to stick that last one in there!)
What's your nickname?: sMushy (he always says it where the M is more pronounced than the s, but the s is still heard)
What or who do you love? Puppy. Mommy.
What's your favorite cartoon?: Bubble Puppies (Guppies), Super Why!, (I would have written down Caillou because hes so calm watching it, although Caillou is one annoying whiny character!)
Do you like bedtime?: No
My turn:
Things we're working on: patience, being nice, and using manners
He likes to demonstrate everything, even when he shouldn't. For example, just now he was playing with his Legos on the stairs and started whining. I assumed his tower fell over so I went to check it out. I ask him what's the matter and he ran his head into the corner of the wall and pointed to it. I guess he must have hit his head and then he showed me how it happened. Oh my! I had to kindly tell him when he gets hurt he does not need to show me, he can just tell me and point. I was laughing pretty hard, still am.
He's a total mamas boy. Loves to cuddle. Loves to give hugs and kisses. Rarely gets sick (although he's sick right now with ulcers on his throat). Loves going to the gym and cries hard when we decide to skip out. Usually a great eater. Not picky. Going to be an artist. He loves doing arts and crafts. He hates sharing. He loves to hit his sister. He talks back. He's witty. He's smart. He's all mine!
Sterling: 21 months
Weight: 32 lbs!...98%
Height: 34 inches...98%
Size clothes: 2Ts, although she's starting to wear some 3Ts
Size shoes: strong 7
Size diaper: 4
Talking: she can say a bunch of one word words, but she's still working on word/sentence combinations. She has a few 2 word combos down: oh-oh, pay pease (play please), ay u (thank you), no-no-no (as she's waving her finger in front back and forth, ha!), t'er go (there you go), way-way (that way). Her absolute favorite word is YAH as she throws her arms up high with a huge smile on her pretty face.
Favorite color: I'd say purple because I LOVE putting her in it. She also wears a bunch of pink, but looks so pretty in purples.
Favorite foods: apples with sugar and cinnamon, bananas, cooked carrots, croissant with nutella, hotdog and mac n cheese (but she's very particular), pears, bananas, pop (if she sees it, she throws a huge fit to get it), peppermints, fruit loops
Favorite toys: baby dolls! she's obsessed with babydolls. She also loves to play with her tea set and serves us milk and cake. Her picnic basket. She carry's this thing around all day long and tries to take it with us when we leave
Favorite activities: sleeping, not even joking here, but I'll take it! She loves to color (scribble). Painting, this is a new favorite, she gets so excited when I get everything set up, hitting her brother (she's a meanie),
Favorite cartoon: I'm not really sure she has a "favorite", she just likes to watch all of them. The ones she likes most are Bupple Guppies, Caillou, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins
Ball of fire. Determined. Entertaining. Trouble maker. Drama Queen. She's a pouter. Mamas girl. Secretly loves her daddy. Great helper. Sensitive. Smart. Not a very good eater, unless its hotdogs. Very picky. She'll easily share her toys as long as she can be traded something in return. Great imagination. Thoughtful. Loveable. Is often found patting your back. Proud to call her my daughter!
I'm sure I've missed something important I should have noted, but this is what I've got for now.
ps. keep watching. some seriously adorable little kids will appear soon. and you won't want to miss!
Have a great weekend!
