Whenever we're with my parents, we always have such a fun time! My parents are such fun people. They like to get out and go to theme parks so this place was perfect to take the grand-babies! We had such an awesome time. The weather was perfect and the rain waited until we got in the car and headed home.
On our way up, we stopped right outside the city to grab some breakfast before heading into the park. You know, to save money :) It was a lovely diner. The made the kids a mickey pancake. How cute is that!
We made it...
We went on every ride that the littles could go on. They loved them and wanted to go on them over and over. This here we were waiting for the train ride.
After one of the rides, Frosty was out giving hugs. Xander wanted to give him one, so he went up to him cautiously. He also gave him a high five. Sterling wanted nothing to do with him.
Sterling loved hanging out with Papa as we walked through the zoo attached to the park. It was mighty small, but the kids had fun.
We waited all day for the light show! It was beautiful...
And we waited all day to take a pic of the front entrance lite up...
2 days later we were back on a plane headed home to see daddy and Hawks

1st stop was to see Santa. Xander talked about him for days before and since we arrived when the park opened, we decided to hit up Santa first so we wouldn't be standing in long lines. Great choice! We were the first visitors.
This is where Santa decided to shout out "ho, ho, ho" in his Santa voice. Scared Sterling and she went running, ha!
Xander quickly hopped up on Santa's lap. Told him he wanted a kitchen. This boy and his kitchen. I still don't know what we're going to do. He just wants to make an egg, ha!
Sterling wouldn't sit on Santa, but she was polite and waved him goodbye.
After leaving Santa's lap, which they received a Hershey bar, of course, we went back around to take some pictures. Who wants to cooperate?

Santa's Reindeer were there too, so we had to go see the magic!
We walked by the playing booths and I wanted to win the kids a bear. My dad and I competed in one game, he won both times and won Sterling her bear. She LOVES it! Sleeps with it all the time. It's her new favorite. Xander's bear was won by me...well maybe the guy working there? He was a funny, nice guy. I was supposed to roll a bowling ball and not let it roll back towards us. This guy working there helped out by having an arm "spasm" to help the ball stop. ha! I loved this guy! He was awesome. We played it twice to win Xander the big one. He loves his too, but not as much as Sterling. Thanks Papa for winning the cute bear!

Chocolate world! I was in heaven
Xander was in slumber-land...the entire time we were inside. Not even the wonderful smell of chocolate woke him up. He was zonked out!

That was our trip. Thanks mom and dad/nana and papa for the wonderful time at your house!
Have a great day!
