Atlanta

On Feb 28th, the kids and I loaded up the van and drove to Atlanta to get started a day early on our March trips.  We've had a busy month and it's not over yet.  It's basically birthday month, so we've been celebrating big time!

First up was Home Depot's kids workshop.  They were building clocks so I made sure to sign them up.  We're starting our time and money unit so these will come in handy during school.

They are perfect!

We then ran around town and enjoyed smallcakes for an afternoon treat.

Movie night.  I don't remember what we were watching, but these two made themselves comfy.

We took a trip down to MS for a few days, then came back to Atlanta to celebrate birthdays.

My parents have a little boy the kids' age, so they play with him every time we go down.  This time we remembered our scooters, so they had an extra fun time playing with the neighbor boy.  Sterling is finally comfortable on hers since her fall last fall.

We celebrated both birthday's with Nana and Papa.

There was a small hole in this balloon and Sterling was sad it was deflating.

Party time

Sterling is always so appreciative of everything.  I find it amazing how two kids in the same household are so different, yet raised the same.  I've once read that your not supposed to remind kids to say thank you.  They'll say it when they really mean it.  Well, I still have Xander do the polite thing when other's give him things.  It seems like the right thing to do.

We also made some speedway caramel corn.  So good!

Nana's house has plenty of room to do gymnastics, so the kids were constantly tumbling around.

We always have such a great time in Atlanta.  We considered moving there, but I'm always glad we changed our minds.  Sometimes great places to visit aren't always great places to live 😉

Have a great day!
