What a fun event the ballpark hosted last night. We decided to go as a family because Xander loves seeing beautiful princesses just as much as Sterling. We arrived early to pick up our tickets and walk across the ball field with the princesses. Upon entering, we ran into our first princess
Xander noticed all the team mascots floating around so he was on a mission all night to meet each one…firstup, the one that hurt his hand because the guy didn’t realize Xander was still holding his hand while he was walking away. Oh Xander, just never let go!
With the princess package came the fun zone wristband, so we purchased Xander one and rode the carousel and jumped in the bounce house
Walking the field, daddy-daughter night
Watching the game
And eating cotton candy…which nobody liked, ha! Now we know.
The guy was a tough one to chase down! He walked the upper box and we chased him to the end and he came down and Xander jumped him. There was one more guy, the “blue guy,” that we couldn’t hunt down before we left. He was very disappointed, maybe next time.
As we were waiting for the carousel a second time, we spotted a rainbow.
And leaving, oh the joys of leaving. We didn’t get to see Elsa up close because she wasn’t roaming around, so a little someone was very upset.
In the end, it was a fun experience for the kids. They’re going to write Elsa a letter and ask her why she didn’t have time to take a picture with them. Oh, and the “blue guy” is getting a letter too. These kiddos sure know what they want and don’t let go easily.
Have a great day!
