The last 4 days of June, the kids and I were prepping for our upcoming trip to visit cousins, aunts and uncles in North Dakota. It's always so much fun to visit family so we were all looking forward to it!
On the 27th, all the kids had haircuts. Our wonderful stylist always puts the girls hair in a cute 'do' when she's finished. Jayla especially loved hers. I do have to say that I loved it too!
Saturday morning we woke up and got ready for some t-ball.
Unfortuntely this is how the game went because it was during lunch (although we'd fed him before) and after lunch is usually calm down time to take a nap...so this was player (along with about 4 of his other teammates, ha!)
Sunday, we headed out to play lacrosse. The kids had their own sticks and Nick and I had some too. It was fun, but it was hot and muggy, so we all lost interest before Nick wanted us to, ha!
That night, I gave Jayla a really good deep conditioning treatment. Our hair stylist gave us some plastic covers for the hair, but somehow I misplaced them...so saran wrap it was!
Monday morning, the kids and I got up early to get on the road to go visit Uncle Jeremy and Auntie Katie. I love that they kids have so much fun with all of their uncles and aunts. It was a 7.5 hour drive. My brother and his wife are expecting their first baby. We're so excited to have another cousin to play with!
Notice Jayla's crazy hair. It drives me crazy, and this was the day after the treatment. We have about 4 or 5 more treatments to go and hopefully those sides will start calming down!
