Florida Days 1 & 2

We had a great time in Florida.  The day before we headed out, our 7 year old niece arrived, just in time to join us in sunny Florida.  Our vacation was enjoyable because we didn't over pack our days, we relaxed, we spent time with family, and somebody graduated with his Graduate class.  It was fun.
The quality of the pics are horrible as they were taken with our phones.  I'd bought a hand size camera to use while in FL, however, I forgot to bring the SD card...so the phones it was.

Jayla was so brave to fly by herself!

I woke up Thursday morning and headed to Walmart to get some sunscreen, toys, towels and water.  Fastest trip of my life because I was excited to get to the beach.  We were at the beach by 10 am and stayed until 130!  It was fun.  Sterling and Jayla LOVED the water.  Xander, well, he didn't touch it.

We headed back up to the room to get cleaned up to go visit Opa.  On our way over to his place, we grabbed lunch and ate in the car to his house.  We were starving!  Kids enjoyed stories with Opa, playing with his model cars, playing outside, and the most favorite was his workout room. Later that night we drove around and headed to dinner at Lobster Shanty.  It was so good!

Friday morning we were up bright and early for a full day at Disney.   We may have went in many circles this day, but we still had an awesome time and got to see and do a lot!

Of course the first character to see was Mickey.  Xander had so much fun with Mickey.  They were dancing and Xander kept him him hugs and kisses.

Pluto was a must see too.  We were in line to see him, but never got up to him because he took off before we got there.  Bummer!  Xander was sad, he was so excited.

We rode all the rides the kids could, all except the Mad Tea Party.

It was so much fun!

We even saw the infamous Minnie.  Sterling is obsessed with Minnie and carries her around everywhere!  Once we got up there, she wouldn't give her a hug or walk up.  I had to take her.  She did let Minnie give her a kiss with her nose.  So sweet.

Sterling terrified of Goofy

The most fun was watching a play at the castle.  Xander still talks about Captain Hook and how he's naughty.

At the end of the day, some little 7 year old was tuckered out from all the sun and walking.

It was so much fun.  Next time it will be even more fun because we know what to expect now.
